The Foundation directly assists Veterans on a case by case basis with financial assistance for medical needs, legal assistance, professional therapy, job placement costs, transportation, food, fuel needs, funeral costs, accounting assistance leading to better financial management, resume assistance, and professional attire for interviews.
We also have reunited veterans who have been distanced from their children due to divorce as well as those who would not otherwise see their children. We feel that veterans re-engaging with their children is an important factor in controlling the stresses of depression and anxiety which lead to self-harm, substance abuse or suicide.
