The sand in the wind dial of the Sabot Foundation x Bausele Field Watch is from the Dog Green Sector of Omaha Beach in Normandy, France. Only one ounce was filled into a vial by permission for the watches. Omaha Beach was the landing spot for 1st Infantry Division, 29th Infantry Division and U.S. Army Rangers June 6, 1944 at 06:30 hour.

All inscriptions on the dial will glow at dark – there is a mixture of white luminova and old radium luminova on the triangles to give it that vintage look. The Nato strap has a mix of elastic fabric to give it an extra comfortable feel on the wrist and recycled plastic to bring some eco-friendly material. The lug size of the strap is 20mm.
