Our Featured Veteran: M.S. Juan

M.S. Juan served in the US Army managing joint-service personnel in support of Overseas Contingency Operations at the National Security Agency/Central Security Service-Hawaii (NSA/CSS-H) and was involved in over 50 direct action missions with the Combined Joint Operations Task Force in Afghanistan as a CST Leader assigned to Naval Special Warfare, members from the U.S. Navy Sea Air Land Teams (SEALs). (The elite Cultural Support Teams are comprised of female soldiers who are trained to support Special Operations Forces.)

As a volunteer she conducted CrossFit classes to assist over 200 soldiers, dependents and veterans to reach their health and fitness goals. She is an Accelerate Exbellum Resident and Pat Tillman Scholar, earning her M.L.A from John Hopkins University and BFA from Old Dominion University, in addition to being a Bronze Star recipient.
